Re: Costco Food Court Secrets From An Employee

I am a originally a Price Club gal and when Costco bought them I became a Costco gal.  I don't eat at the food court at Costco (most of the time it is so crowded I don't have a choice).  I think all the Sam's Clubs in Western Washington are closing or are already closed.  I love Costco and go there about three times a month.

I've been a member of Costco for 23 yrs - and love shopping there. I have a large leather sofa in my living room - next to my computer - and I "got sick looking at it." I checked all the local furniture stores on-line in my area - and after reading many negative reviews about them on Yelp, I went to Costco's on-line site and purchased their Sheldon Portebello Grey Top Grain Leather Loveseat. I purchased it 3 days ago - and it shipped yesterday. Mostly, they sell living room sets --- and this loveseat was the only one I could purchase separately - and it's perfect for my space. I know if there is any problem, I'll be able to return it very easily. Costco is only 10 minutes from my home - so convenient!!!!

Several weeks ago, I went to Costco to return a few items of clothing and I told the woman at the return desk that I've been a customer for 23 years - and she said that she's working at Costco for 31 years.

There's a Sam's Club 5 min. from my house and I walked around the store a couple of times - and it felt so uncomfortable.

I use many of their big discount coupons that they mail out monthly - saving me around $20 each time I shop. I just received a Costco check for $57. - a rebate for using my Costco Visa Card. Pays for my membership fee. If u purchase something and it goes on sale within 30 days, u get the lower price. I used that a few times.

Costco has Quality Products, Low Prices, Great Brands and the Best Customer Service. They make shopping fun!!!!

Re: Costco Food Court Secrets From An Employee

I belong to both Costco and Sam's.  They both have different products that I have gotten used to and do not want to do without.

Both of mine have food areas set up like a picnic area.  I have never in all of my years eaten at either one.  I try my best to eat healthy and I would assume there is nothing on the menu that would be ideal or guilt free for me.  Besides, when I am done shopping at either store, I am ready to get the heck out of there and go home. (I don't eat out very often)

The only thing I've ever gotten at Sam's club food court was the cherry limeade Fanta. Costco, never had the chicken bake, I've maybe had the pizza a few times in all my years as a member and we had a membership when I was a kid. The brisket sandwich is good, I used to like the polish dog but they got rid of it a couple years ago and the strawberry frozen yogurt is great.

As far as shopping, Costco hands down. I was miserable when we moved to a state without a Costco and I was stuck with Sam's.

I’ve never seen the brisket sandwich, @jaxs mom.  I’ve seen chili at a few stores and supposedly they are testing out a $5 hamburger.

We've had it for the last couple years. I'm in Texas though. We also have the chii, but I've never tried it.

I’m a Sam’s Club girl. Tried Costco for a year and hated it! The shoppers in Costco were always so rude because they were ALWAYS in a hurry. The aisles were crowded and the whole place was so much smaller than Sam’s. My Sam’s is huge and clean. The shoppers are a lot less stressed out for some reason.

I don't care about the other shoppers, I care about the quality of the merchandise they sell.

I've been a member at Costco's since 1980 and I've never seen rude shoppers.     Maybe some boneheads in the parking lot, but that's everywhere.  Smiley Wink

I stopped eating at Costco Food Courts since I found a cockroach on my pizza.
