If you use or like Corelle HSN has what's left of Joy Mangano's Corelle on sale. I just bought a set of 2 12" oval platters for $9.95 & a set of 2 1 qt bowls for $9.95. Shipping is $3.95 each purchase but you save half on each additional purchase. I know these generally sale for the $9.95 prices for only 1. Too bad the dinner plate sets are sold. They also have cereal bowls, coffee mugs & salad plates. I love Corelle since it's lightweight. I hate heavy dishes.

I think Corelle has always been a nice product, but isn't the Mangano stuff made in China? I could be mistaken but that's what is stuck in my head. I also remember it being VERY over-priced so maybe now they are selling it for what they should have in the first place. That's how hsn does sales - way overpriced at first, then on clearance for what it's actually worth.

The only Corelle we have is a couple of large-ish bowls that are at least 20 years old. Man, that stuff (the US made stuff anyway) holds up forever! I don't use them every day but I use them for certain things on a regular basis.

It shows on HSN the platters, bowls, plates are made in the USA. The mugs say made in China.

Got rid of all my other dishes such as ironstone, etc. many years ago. LOVE Corelle and have upgraded to new patterns throughout the years. Right now, I'm using the square plain white dishes.
