Today, I received the letter from QVC regarding the silicone trivets included with K46277.  If swallowed they can cause real problems as explained in their letter.  I wasn't concerned about little ones swallowing them, so what I did shortly after receiving this item was pop the magnets out, (very easy) dab a very little bit of Gorilla Glue in each hole and put the magnets back in.  No problems.

I was notified by QVC about the recalled Copper Chef trivets last August. I could either fill out a form from Tristar Corp. , the company that makes Copper Chef & send them a picture of the trivets or fill out the form, cut out the magnets and send the trivets back to them with a label they would provide. I chose to send them back. I never received the new trivets . I called last month and was told to call corporate customer service. I could not get through . I called yesterdayand after being on hold for a long time I decided to email them.  I explained that I had sent them back with the form filled out using the label that they provided. I received an email today stating that they never received my trivets & that I should fill out the form & send a picture of the trivets to Tristar !  How in the world am I supposed to do that when I just told them I sent them back months ago using their label!   Don't know what else I can do . I'm disappointed in Copper Chef and their corporation Tristar.
