My 30 plus year old cookware, some pans are wearing out, if you needed new ones ,what type would you look for?

I asked Santa to bring me some Caraway pieces.  I have had success with stainless steel and asked for my new Caraway pots & pans to be from their stainless line.

They also come in ceramic non stick & non toxic coating in different colors.  I asked for the teapot as well as some baking pieces to be in this ceramic line in their cream color.

It's an expensive line but I want something that will last and not fall apart.  My DD has had a few pieces for several years and they have held up well.

I was surprised to suddenly see some of their items here at the Q!  If you are interested on more information & reviews you can check their website Caraway home dot com.

@goldensrbest I would buy the bare minimum of what I need and get the best I could afford.

For stainless, I like Demeyer and All Clad.  Demeyer makes some great smaller pieces.

A piece or two in Le Creuset--you won't be sorry.  They are heavy but left the lid separately.  The medium to small aren't that bad to life for my old self.

Non-stick:  A good sized pan for eggs or other things.  They don't last long, don't spend a lot of money.

Baking pans: USA Pan, Williams-Sonoma Gold, Nordic Ware.

Baking pans ceramic: Le Creuset, Emile Henry, Sur La Table house brand.

I would not buy a multi piece set.  Think about what pieces you will use and purchase by the piece.  I bought a 3 pc. set of J.A. Henkel skillets at Costco a couple years ago and I use them more than anything on  the the stovetop. My Ninja XL Grill gets used often too.

@JeanLouiseFinch has an excellent point.  I have several different brands of cookware in my kitchen and it's exactly that, I have my favorite pieces depending on what I am making and I use them all the time.   I have a couple LeCreuset's, a few Wolfgang Puck's, a couple Rachel Ray's and my newest favorites Curtis Stone!   (Durapan)

Think about the pieces you use most often and purchase those types.

I like OXO.  I just received the OXO 3 fry pan set from QVC last week.  They are better than my old OXO pans.

I LOVE Analon Advanced, and All-Clad nonstick cookware, because they perform WELL, and are long lasting with proper care.👍 I have a few pieces of Emeril's from an infomercial that are extremely nonstick!😁

Like Sooner, I too, LOVE William Sonoma Goldtouch bakeware, USA Pans and Nordic Ware bundt, and springform pans. NOTHING sticks, and  everything releases easily!!!😊 I also like my Lodge cast iron skillets!!!👍

Belk has Cuisinart and Biltmore brands of sauce pans on sale right now.   I bought the Cuisinart brand for my teacher daughter and her boyfriend last Christmas, and they love them.
