Cookware presentation pet peeve

Why doesn't that Warden guy tell the audience that if you are going to use the pourspouts and lids to drain liquid from the pans you are going to burn your hand holding the lid with steam? IMO this is a ridiculous selling point. The pourspouts are fine if you are transferring food into a serving bowl, but for draining you're going to burn yourself.
