About 6 years ago I bought a gorgeous set of Calphalon tri-clad cookware. I've loved cooking with it and am so impressed with how well it does with every kind of cooking.
I'm in my mid-60s and for the past 6 months, I've been having some semi-serious arthritis pain issues with my hands and wrists. Even when I don't have the pain, I have a distinct weakness. It's not all the time, but enough to now be causing issues with lifting and carrying and working with this very sturdy cookware.
I'm torn as to whether I should just buy a new lighter set and get rid of my Calphalon, or just keep trying to work with it. I really don't want to go down in quality and/or durablility but don't know what brand(s) might give me similar quality but that might be at least half the weight.
Any suggestions?
