My husband and I are trying to do a little makeover on the kitchen in my dad's house. My father passed away and we are going to sell the home. His 30" electric cooktop was a good 35+ years old. We are replacing it and I wondered, given the choice, would you prefer a cooktop with coils or radiant elements. I know coils are a bit old school, but there are advantages/disadvantages to both choices. BTW, gas is not an option as the home is all electric.
