Cooks Essentials? Worried about TSV after reading reviews

Not sure if I should post under "for the home" too. I purchased the recent TSV and it has shipped. But now after reading the reviews of the other CooksEssentials sets, it sounds as though there are a lot of unhappy customers a year or so down the road. I know Q only has a 30-day return policy, so has anyone experienced the Cooks Esseentials lifetime warrantee successfully? If my pans are ruined after 6 months as some of the reviews imply, I would take back to any other retailer (Costco or Macy's would honor) but not sure how Q or CooksEssentials would respond. Having second thoughts about this purchase and it hasn't even arrived yet!
