I bought a tsv a few months ago.....Love it. My question is - I made french onion soup in the PC for the first time and the gasket smells like onions. Remedy? I tried wiping it with vinegar and then vodka and still has the odor. Any suggestions?
Thanks! Susan

I hate to tell you this, but it will smell like than until you cook something that smells stronger, lol. When I used the electric pressure cookers, my gasket always retained some sort of residual cooking odor, no matter how I cleaned it.

And I would leave it that way, the more you mess with it the greater the chance you could put a rip into it. And if that were to happen and a replacement is not longer available, the p/c will be useless.
