Cooking shows are Great... BUT!

Trying to watch this morning but Carolyn continues to eat, talk with her mouth full and can't seem to get back to discussing product at hand until she swallows and cleans her mouth!  Tasting the food is one thing, but the continuing eating is rude - why is that allowed??  A couple of other hosts do the same, but the majority just taste and move on.

Because it is a way to demonstrate (truthfully or mot) that the food isn 't just good, it's really good. If viewers see that it is really good, they are more likely to puchase. The goal is to sell, and as with all claims, exaggeration can be effective.

I totally agree, Carolyn acts like a kid in the candy store jumping up and down and Rachel acts the same way, sorry just my opinion!

Re: Cooking shows are Great... BUT!

My 2 cents about food shows - notice the change in the late afternoon holiday food show.  Instead of just leaving host & vendor & food of the hour.....Q has added a table for various vendors to sit w/hosts and eat and eat   & talk & talk.....with backs  to camera so have to keep turning to camera while chewing & chewing and talking & talking.  Noise level rises - laughter increases - 8 people yakking and yakking just makes that show unwatchable now.  Me = GONE

@fthunt "Me+Gone" = Me, too!  I hate these new formats with extraneous people sitting around a table, bar, etc.  Just stick to the presentation of the items.......possibly in a shorter version to enable more products to be shown?

@TheMemphisVette  You like them, some don’t, that’s what makes the world go around.

Re: Cooking shows are Great... BUT!

I find the food shows boring and never watch...plus they just make me hungry if they are showing something that looks delicious.
