Has anyone roasted the garbanzo beans yet? What did you think? I keep them in an airtight containe and snack on them like peanuts or popcorn. You can put Parmesan cheese on them in the last few minutes, add your favorite spices, etc.

Our eating hasn't changed very much.   I started a year ago trying to lower my sugar intact to get my #'s down.  In Sept. we started a low carb diet.   I've lost 17 pounds and don't feel deprived at all.   The only change for us these last two weeks is that we've had a few more carbs:  mashed pots one night, a biscuit this morning, a very mini choc. pecan pie, etc.  This morning I'd lost 3 more pounds for a total of 20.  I was supposed to get blood work done last week but I'm not going into a medical facility right now.   Hopefully, this is paying off.   I'm ready for some pasta!!

Carbs are my way of dealing with stress.  Very hard to curb the impulse.  Thej other way of dealing is to spend money.  That's a little easier to correct since I can go out.
