Cleaning Stains on Stovetops

We refreshed our kitchen area ie painted, new appliances. I wanted white, that's what we have. This was in March.

As time & cooking goes, I started seeing a little staining from spillovers, you know. At first they were cleaning off nicely but no more. DH and I were talking about this again and what might work best to totally remove them.

Lo and behold, I read online of course, vinegar & baking soda paste. EUREKA  -- that stuff really does work!!!!  My white stovetop is back to looking new again all with NO scratches!

I'm sure many of you already knew this trick. I never thought about trying it though - until now.

The simplest are still the best.

Thanks.  I am going to try this.  My white stove top is about 7 years old and I have been using Cerma Bryte on it but it is harder to get clean.

@DiAnne  You'll be amazed truly (I hope!). I dipped a tiny area of a paper towel and rubbed it over the stains. The baking soda will leave small clumps of residue but you can get it up off cleaning up.

Good luck!

I’ve tried this on my Wolf stove and unfortunately doesn’t work.

I used the power scrubber they sell on QVC and I now have a nice looking stove top.
