Re: Cheryl's Cookies - Opinion Please

Nothing special. I do like the fact that they are each wrapped. They are nice to take to someone in the hospital or nursing home.

LOVE the TJ almond biscotti with chocolate and the chocolate chip cookies with chocolate filling.

Have you tried their blueberry poppy seed?

Re: Cheryl's Cookies - Opinion Please

They were just okay for me. Only liked the iced ones. Last time I ordered, many arrived broken and majority seemed stale to me. I did not order them last year and have not since my experience. I also read on these forums that they are now shipping USPS which is a no go for me. If you order hope you enjoy them.

I don't think her cookies are that good.  Some store bought cookies are better.  I'm surprised that so many people buy them.

This.  IMO they are pretty darn tasteless. You would do much better purchasing cookies at a good bakery.   As someone else said, I think store bought cookies are better esp. from a store bakery (rather than prepackaged).  Cheryl's are definitely not worth the money.   They are pretty bland and, as I say, tasteless.   The times I've had them I've thought they were a major waste of calories and after a bite or two I've thrown it out.

Re: Cheryl's Cookies - Opinion Please

I enjoyed the cookies that I got recently.  A bit sugary, but that is to be expected.  Nice and soft.  I like the flavored icing, so the cookies with lime, lemon icing have a nice taste to me.  The rest of them that are regular flavored icing begin to taste the same even if the  icing is a rainbow of colors they all taste the same.

Thanks everyone.  Your opinions helped me make my decision.  I think I will bake my own cookies.

Yours won't cost as much and probably will be just as good.  I've had her cookies and they aren't as bad as some people make them out to be, but I'd sooner go to a bake shop and pick out a fresh assortment.

Got a few with a Christmas gift a couple of years ago.  Would not order them.

Re: Cheryl's Cookies - Opinion Please

They were horrible about 8 yrs. ago when I ordered for myself and for family.  Two different shipments and cities but same hard as brick cookies with no taste.  I would rather bake my own or shop my local bakery and give them the $$.

But now I will!
