Watching her w/Chris Pryme this morning. Sure wish she would let Chris talk. She constantly interrupted Chris. Then I see that Carolyn is on w/Blue Jean Chef. I won't even watch. She does this all the time or is in the background commenting. Rude.

Maybe she couldn't hear Chris. Coordination is sometimes not the best when a vendor rep is on remote.

I do not think it’s rudeness at all- it’s a host doing what the producer tells her to do.

I think the remote has something to do with it. I like Caroline as a host and it is the hosts show and not the vendors. Sometimes the vendors are rude because they go on and on as well. Hard to say what their producers are whispering in their ears as well as like get it rolling.

@Patriot3 I always enjoy Carolyn Gracie and am watching her with Meredith now and purchased the blue handled knife set and a second copy of her One Pot book as. a gift for someone.
I think the host has to listen to the director's in ear commands and then also cope with the seconds delay in timing with the remote Skyping ordeal with the vendor.
I. don't think any of them are beeing intentionally rude.
In any event, just my take.

Carolyn Gracie comes from radio, where dead air is a no-no.
It's not just the remote issue, she's always been that way.

I don't know what happened this morning but Carolyn was a mess. I don't think she could hear her producer Frank which she kept saying. She got the color wrong on the tsv and the blender. It was all over the place.
She is my favorite host but wasn't prepared this morning for some reason.

It seems to me that the issue was with the technical people if she could not hear the producer. I watched the presentation that you mentioned, and she was hardly a mess.

I think the problem with the host and vendors is skyping and remote broadcasts....you can tell there was a delay especially with Meredith's skype feed....
What irritated me about Carolyn's Show this morning was instead of the professional chef's getting the bigger screen view while they demonstrated the products they zeroed in on Carolyn instead....Id rather see what the chef's were demonstrating while talking about the product.....that's on the show Producer

I was watching Carolyn selling the sprutles this morning. Didn't anyone noticed she picked and touched her nose more than once like when you have an itchy nose and immediately grabbed the toasted bread to spread the peanut butter? I hope producers are watching the video instead of just replaying it over and over. I had to switch channels. It was gross. She didn't just touch her nose but used the same fingers to touch the bread right away. David is constantly applying sanitizer or washing his hands during presentation, Carolyn didn't clean her hands at all and kept touching the food. Yeak!!
