Re: Can you spiralize zucchini and freeze it for quick use?

I have the spiralizer that OP has and it works very well altho, I splurged and ordered the KitchenAid spiralizer attachment as it is very hard for me to use my hands anymore and the KA is electric. I haven't done zucchini and let it sit as it gives off alot of water; some say to salt it and let it drain then rinse it before cooking. Blanching isn't a good thing either. I cook it in a little olive oil and butter with herbs and garlic as soon as I spiralize it and use it instead of pasta which is absolutely fantastic. I've done spuds for Hassleback spuds that works good too. I wouldn't freeze these things, like others have said, they get mushy. I've done cukes for a salad and carrots. Haven't done any apples or other things like the harder squash. but it's on my to-do list.
