Can you salvage potatoes au gratin that has too much salt?

I put regular salt & pepper on the potatoes, but also added garlic salt and onion salt and that overdid the salt. Anything I can do to not have to throw it away?

i would probably make a white sauce flour butter milk (more cheese if you need) without salt (!)and cut in to your sauced potatoes.

I suggest adding more cooked potatoes to absorb the salt, or add ground beef to turn it into a casserole.

@geegerbee   Make a white sauce, thin it down with milk, and cut up the au gratin and add it to warm it up and you'll have a wonderful soup!
