You know the kind you make with the cinnamon rolls in the tube. What other ingredients do I need? Thanks in advance.

I used to make this often. This is the recipe we used. Bought the regular buttermilk biscuits in the pop open can.
Monkey Bread
1 can refrigerator biscuits
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons butter
1 Tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
chopped nuts, optional
1. Mix brown sugar, butter and water in a saucepan and melt together over medium heat.
2. Break each biscuit into 4 pieces, place in sugar mixture and mix until pieces are coated.
3. Spread evenly in 8 or 9-inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Last time I made it that is where I got the recipe. It called for cinnamon rolls. If I were to make it again, I would cut back on the sugar. Thought it was too sweet.

I always just use regular biscuits. That cuts down on the sweet. 4 cans makes a nice bundt pan full

MONKEY BREAD
3 cans refrigerator homestyle biscuits
1 stick butter (real)
½ C. evaporated milk
2-3 tsp. cinnamon
2 C. brown sugar (light or mix of lt. & dk.)
½ -1 tsp. vanilla extract
Whole Pecans (opt.)
Spray a bundt pan. Cut each biscuit into fourths (a kitchen scissors makes this easy). Roll each piece in a cinnamon and white sugar mixture, such as you would sprinkle on toast. Drop the coated pieces of dough into the pan.
In a saucepan, bring the butter, evaporated milk, cinnamon and brown sugar to a boil. Boil a minute or two. Remove from heat. Stir in the vanilla. Pour the syrup mixture over the dough. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes. Remove from the oven. Place a very large round serving platter (bigger than a dinner plate) over the the bundt pan. Quickly and carefully, invert and place the platter on the counter. Carefully lift the pan off , being very careful of the hot syrup that will run out. Do not slice the Monkey Bread. Allow people to serve themselves by using a fork to pull out a cluster. Can be enjoyed alone or some people like it with butter. Leftovers don’t keep too well beyond a day but don’t worry. There usually aren’t any leftovers.
Note: If you want to add pecans, scatter them within the pan when you are putting the dough in. These make a great addition.

I have also made it with butterscotch or chocolate pudding. This brings back memories.
