Can Opener

I was in the middle of making taco soup last night when my can opener died on me. It just wouldn't go no matter how hard I tried. It's the hand held kind because the electric can openers IMO are a breeding ground for bacteria.

I throw my can opener in the dishwasher after every use.

Can someone recommend a good hand held can opener that will last more than a year?
