I got a great deal on baked teriyaki tofu squares. They have a short date. Wondered if I can freeze for later.

Yes. The texture once thawed will be a bit spongier, but still tasty.

Speaking of that.. if you're like me and you like your tofu less spongy and more "meat like" for stir fries and such, do this - put it into the freezer as soon as you bring it home. When you thaw it out, squeeze it gently in your hands like you would a sponge, until you've squeezed out all of the water you possibly can. It will cook up much better.
