I had those for the first time last year.  I'm glad they are back.

I had a Grapple apple a few weeks ago.  Another yum!

I was bummed when the one store that had them in this area didn't carry them this year as I really enjoyed them and I am not a fruit or even a big sweet lover but I guess for me they were just so fun to eat if that makes sense as you see a grape but then the taste just really (again for me) took me back to my childhood of eating cotton candy at the local fair . . . We found some of those Cotton Candy grapes the other day and OH MY gosh they are wonderful!  We hadn't seen them in a while but they are back in the stores here now.

It helps me not be so sad the cherries are gone. . . but the HATCH peppers are back too and I LOVE those!

Oh @Sooner I agree those Cotton Candy grapes are the bomb! . . . if anyone has a chance to snag them I would highly recommend as they are great for snacking but also for a given recipe.  They are unusual yet delicious!

I agree, @momtochloe.

I think that they're really good, too.

If someone likes the taste of Cotton Candy, they will like these grapes. They're different and unique.

I tried them for the first time this year.  They were good but really expensive.  I bought them one week and the next week the store did not have them anymore.  I love the regular taste of grapes but I would purchase these again.

Please know I live in the western suburbs of Chicago so we are not exactly ground zero for grape harvests but when I first purchased those grapes they were the bomb but when I ran back for a second set a week later I almost took them back (I'm kind of a weeny about that) but maybe a third of them had the distinctive flavor of the cotton candy.

If you are interested and if you can, try and grab the initial harvest or offering in your area as it does make a big difference (I believe @chickenbutt highlighted this in her previous post and it is so true!).  Smiley Happy

I bought the cotton candy grapes by mistake. They were horrible. I tossed them out. Had an odd sweet taste for grapes.

So you like "sour grapes?"  LOL!!!!  Sorry I couldn't resist the pun!!!!

Don't forget that frozen grapes are a great cold treat. I wouldn't like these grapes, but regular grapes are wonderful for super hot summers.
