Another vote for Cosco, I find our Sams depressing and run down. Haven't been there in years!

We originally joined Sams long ago and then decided when Costco showed up that they had more products to our liking. Sams over the years grew dingy and looked dirty. We simply quit Sams and stayed with Costco. Sams just remodeled and added a gas station. We thought we would give them a second chance. I am trying hard to like them but there seems something missing in what they carry and how we are treated. Not sure we will renew after the year is up.

I prefer Sams - no earth shattering reason but I just like them best. Their store in my area - still a 20 minutes drive for me, actually Costco and Sam's are one block from each other - is an enormous place - and super clean. Their original building was much smaller but even though their newer store is larger, it has a very nice atmosphere in it - you do not feel as if you are in the stores of yesteryear, Price Club, Union Store, etc. That was the main reason I left Costco, just a bit too warehousey for me. Understand, I do not have strong feelings about shopping only at Sams, just prefer it.
