Just read on the TSV thread that Temptations will be offering a Christmas pattern during Christmas in July. I really liked one I saw years ago that was a snowy village scene and would love to see it again.

Almost every year there's a new Temptation pattern. They don't match each other and never enough of one pattern to set a table before the pattern in discounted. I have the old world poinsettia baking dishes, the snowman teapot & mugs as well as the snowman soup and trays, snowflake desert plates, 3 tier tidbit, and covered casserole dish.
There's also been the cardinals and the angels patterns. If the different patterns matched, it wouldn't be so bad there's so many patterns, but they don't.
Buyer beware- Temptation Christmas patterns change often and normally faster than they offer enough to set a table.

Years ago.....when Temptations was first introduced on the Q.....the first offering was a Christmas red and white striped cake plate and server, along with 8 mugs in the stripe pattern and 8 solid red desert plates with a raised poinsettia pattern around the rim. I bought two sets at the time......and use them at the holiday season.
As a rule, I am not a fan of printed or pattern dinnerware.....just not my style. But....this desert set really caught my eye at the time......and have received compliments on this set.
This is my one and only Temptations purchase.....LOL.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new Christmas pattern. Love my Temp-Tations.

Often there is a continuing of a Christmas or seasonal pattern with TT, and there has been some hinting that there may be more angels this year, and more cardinal as well. I could be wrong, but I think there cold be more Holly as well.
Many of the newer Christmas patterns are designed to coordinate. The peppermint and holly (I'm thinking there was only a 9x13 in this pattern with lid it so far) looks very good with the angels, and the cardinal and the Holly pattern are really great together. Many of these are designed specifically to coordinate, without a matchy matchy feel.
Many of the older sets did seem to run their course, like snowy nights and hometown holiday, but there were lots of sets and pieces before they did retire.
Again, I'm not sure of the accuracy of this statement, but I had heard that their might be a reindeer pattern of some sort this year as well.

I would love to see more angels and rheindeer would be fun, too.
