I prefer canola oil over vegetable..I use olive oil for everything except baking...the price of it has gone up ALOT in the last few months too.  Save it for cooking or salads.

Made the biscotti today with vegetable oil and it was no problem without canola oil. They were excellent.

I use a wide variety of olive oils. Some are recommended for baking, some for sautéing and some best for drizzling. I order mine from Global Gardens I also am a big fan of their walnut oil great for baking and a good source of omega 3.
