Butternut Squash Pie

2 c cooked squash

2/3 c sugar

1 t pumpkin pie

2 T flour

2 eggs

1/2 c evaporated milk

Mix and pour in a 9" unbaked crust. Bake for 10 min. at 450* then 45 minutes at 350*.

I use to buy the frozen butternut squash, but can't find it now. I guess I'll bake a fresh one and use it.

I use to make this w/o the crust, just pour the filling in a lightly greased pie pan, and bake it. Smiley Happy Smiley Happy

1 t pumpkin pie = 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice?

I can still find the frozen squash in some grocery stores. I have a recipe I make around Thanksgiving that is a butternut squash custard with toasted coconut and cracker crumbles on it. It sounds similar to your recipe. It's very good!
