Bundt Pan on Wednesday Night...

Don't get me wrong I love my bundt pan but it is not non-stick. David and Lisa both said no spray needed because it's non-stick. I know because I tried baking a cake without spray and it stuck especially around the middle piece. Next cake I sprayed with Bakers Joy and it came out beautifully. They need to stop saying non stick!

I agree. I don't own this, but if I did I would also use Baker's Joy.

I watched a little of the TT bundt pan presentation and saw Lisa "dump" a cake out of the bundt pan...no sticking. I don't know if the cake is still warm or cold when they do this but I would never bake any cake/muffins/etc. without first using some sort of spray(I also use Baker's Joy) and this is with any bake ware stating it is non-stick!I do agree that the hosts & presenters should not say that it is non-stick...maybe say you might need to use a small amount of spray, etc.

When I make a casserole, etc. I haven't had any sticking problems and the clean up is fantastic!

Re: Bundt Pan on Wednesday Night...

Hey pudding98!

I have a couple of the bundt pans, and have used them several times. I greased the pan based on past experiences with other TT pans and baking.

Thanks for confirming the point that sometimes, what is said on air is less than totally honest. One problem with Q's scripted presentations on many of their products, is consumers hear comments like that over and over, and when the product fails to perform as stated, they have every right to comment and make complaint about it, whether here, on FB or in any form that the two companies may hear their concerns. When a customer spends money on a product, and it doesn't perform as promised, a company should expect to hear such. Any fellow poster who don't want to hear the facts, should move on to another forum.

I'm glad to see that, in my opinion, you and I are on the same page. We love the product, have and use it daily, and aren't afraid to give an honest opinion of its quality and performance, sometime really good and sometimes not so much. I was in restaurant management, and retail management for decades, and businesses DO want customers honest feedback. It is the only way they can make their product and marketing better.

No matter what anyone says, I would always use Baker's Joy when baking just to be safe.

I think when they "dump" out a cake or cornbread, etc. they have already done it once off air and then the second time when we see it they all come out easy. I also would use Baker's Joy when baking in TT. I will say my TT that I bake chicken or casseroles in do come clean in dishwasher much better than Corning Ware or Pyrex did. I had to go over them by hand after washing them in dishwasher.

I always use Baker's Joy when baking cakes, muffins, etc. on any bake ware not just Temp-tations! All the "non-stick" cake pans, bundt pans that are sold in every store claims to be non-stick & aren't unless you use some spray or grease/flour them! Common sense goes a long way!
