I made cookie brownies twice in the past month. Chewy brownies with choco chip cookie dough baked in them..... last week I made them with peanut butter cookies...they are a BIG HIT!

The classic:  brownies with walnuts.

No nuts?  Then they're just fudge.  ;-)

I use rum instead of water for the "liquid" called for in the recipe

We love the chewy fudge brownies with walnuts, especially warm.

I enjoy putting (depending upon amount of brownies baking) a brick or ½ brick of cream cheese and a tub or ½ tub of coconut pecan frosting for German Chocolate Cream Cheese brownies.  Stir cake frosting and cream cheese together than stir to brownie mix and bake.  Let all sink to my thighs.
