Unfrosted - and with nuts.

Both, just as long as no nuts or any other add-in.  Nothing better than a big hunk of fudgey brownie with a scoop of ice cream.

Re: Brownies: Frosted or Unfrosted

I love a decadently frosted brownie, but I will not refuse an unfrosted one.  When I bake them, I use a heavy coating of confectioner's sugar instead of frosting.

Re: Brownies: Frosted or Unfrosted

I'm not a big brownie (or sweets, in general) eater but I would prefer a corner piece, frosted w/out nuts!

Re: Brownies: Frosted or Unfrosted

Interestingly, I love to bake but don't have much of a sweet tooth, and I'll take a fruity dessert over a chocolatey one anyday—but a good brownie is among my favorite indulgences. My preference is always unfrosted and with no nuts (and never with messy powdered sugar or cocoa on top). However, in most cases, I won't turn a brownie away simply because it's frosted.  Smiley Happy

Re: Brownies: Frosted or Unfrosted

With my favorite marshmallow fudge frosting:

1 1/4 cups mini marshmallows

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup cocoa

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Heat marshmallows, butter, milk, cocoa, and salt in saucepan over low heat and stir until smooth.  Stir in powdered sugar a little at a time until smooth.  Spread on brownies and refrigerate to set for an hour.

Perfect accompaniment to a warm brownie:  an ice cold glass of milk.

Lactaid brand if sensitive to lactose.

Unfrosted with walnuts please. LOL!!!

Don't forget to add some espresso powder.

I don't want frosting on my cookies either.

Re: Brownies: Frosted or Unfrosted

@KitTkat I prefer a thin  chewy brownie, and then a thim layer of frosting  between two brownies. I like to make a pan of blonde's and a pan of dark chocholate and  make a sandwich cookie out of those two.
