Re: Bread day for me and a friend

I keep my Platninum packets in the freezer. Usually order 2 three packs at a time . keep one out and freeze the other. Usually have a year's shelf life on them. If frozen should keep longer. the 2 envelopes I used today expired in June '22 so I hurried up and used them. Results were good.

How did that bread on the right end up looking like that?  Did you cook it out of the pan?

I've baked bread for yeas and no way did the right loaf turn into a beautiful ball!! Sure looks good. I bake my easy bread in a round pan.

Re: Bread day for me and a friend

After bread raises the 2nd time what we tend to forget is it will still raise a tad more when put into a hot oven.
