Brainstorm: Got Any Ideas for a Fall Trifle?

I love making the "standard" trifle during the holidays, so I got to thinking about how you could make a fall trifle. Any ideas? I bet if we put our heads together we could come up with a pretty good one if anyone is interested. Maybe we could start by using a spice cake as a basic starting point. Can't wait to hear your ideas! Mags
