We went to the Home and Garden Show yesterday. We go every year and we were actually interested in Cutco knives. We watched the VitaMix demo, as we had for many years but this time....The demo lady made the usual smoothies, peanut butter, tortilla soup and chocolate ice cream. She made the ice cream with Ovaltine, banana, vanilla extract and ice. My lactose intolerant husband loved it. Plus, the deal was very good with a payment plan and a free dry grain grindy thingy. I got a white one. Last night I made my husband an apple, carrot, banana smoothie instead of potatoe chips!!! I feel very comfortable with this purchase. After being on the fence for years, it just was the right time! BTW, we did NOT get the knives, maybe next year!
