A little harsh, just phrasing.  Why question reputation when just trying to give options?

From the fact thousands have bought Temptations, people wanted options. Temptations provides that. Some of it I like. Some I don't.

As far as Tara, to me, it takes a lot for a person to run a successful business for 20 years. Kudos!

Those of us that have been w/ Q long enuf to know when hosts and vendors change their tune....are a miniscule droplet in a bucket compared to the 95 million supposed households QVC is in!

The vast majority of the purchasing public has NO idea when vendors/hosts shift gears!

How many thousands of new customers during Covid have no inkling of things said months or even YEARS before.

How many ppl besides those on these boards have QVC on 24/7?

Remember how they ALL used WEN, unless Ojon was on, then they ALL used that, now Tweaked...but wait....isn't that the ONLY eyeliner/foundation_____________fill in the blank________ they use?

It is not uncommon at all....and as said, NO one but us few here on these boards even remember it.

Yes, her credibility could be tainted to US...BUT we are a blip of the customers QVC has.

@RespectLife The boards are a marketing tool. If you know anything about marketing, as I've said on other threads, 1 person here represents so many thousands.

You're assuming that most of the QVC shoppers have never heard Tara dissing "Boring whiteware" (using "boring" is in itself a cutdown).

For those of us who have heard her over and over again, using it as a sales pitch, and now suddenly changing her tune just to sell her own white dishes, that's a problem.

In the sales world, believability is of utmost importance.

@vaberry The issue is not whether she's providing options or not. No one is questioning that. Options are fine

Tara should apologize on-air for all the times she dissed white dishes.  But she won't.  Smiley Sad

I disagree. Woodland white has a design. It's not plain white. You can believe she's selling temptations hand over fist.

Personally I'm more concern over Harvest isn't being offered now. Looks like it's done for this selling season. Although I haven't received all that I have ordered, more offerings would be nice. I really like the pattern and can't wait to see it on the table together.

Tara has nothing to apologize for, LOL.  Trends change constantly, and adding white only increases options for customers. I was never crazy about Old World, but do like many of her other patterns.  A table can look too busy with every dish and serving piece in an intricate, colorful pattern,  so white can be a nice change.

For years,Tara put down boring white ware and touted her colorful temptations bake ware. Now she is selling, you guessed it, boring white ware. I guess boring white ware sells.

@chessylady   I love my white dishes, all of them, including my bakeware (French White) and everyday dinnerware (Johnson Brothers Heritage, that I purchased in 1973 when I graduated from college).  All of it is still as beautiful as it was when I bought it.  My china is Royal Doulton Biltmore, not all white, but on a white background.   Love it all. I see nothing 'boring' about any of it.

I had a four place setting set of Blue Willow in the basement I got as a grocery store premium many years ago.  I just pulled it out to use and agree with above poster.  Food looks terrible on it.  Set will go into the next local consignment auction.

@Northern Belle 2 This is absolutely true, trends do change but the point is, she should apologize for years of downgrading whiteware and suddenly changing her tune just because she's now selling it.
