If anyone owns this hand mixer, can you tell me if it is heavy?  I have hand issues and no info on the weight.  Thanks in advance Smiley Happy

FYI, @northiie57, Reading some of the reviews, they say the ejection button is hard to press and requires a lot of strength.  That could be an issue for you.

I would contact Q and ask them the weight of the product. That is important info they should provide online or mention on-air. Add that in the suggestion forum also, maybe someone else monitors that forum and would pass it on.

Hand mixers are usually only a couple of pounds, so weight is not the issue.

If you are still seeing your OT, ask about other tips.  Usually it is the on/off or the attachment eject that are deal breakers.

I can't handle heavy mixers either. I had a Kitchenaid immersion mixer & it was so heavy to hold. I

I have this hand mixer.  It is a bit on the heavier side.  My younger self may not have any issue with it.  It's not so heavy that I can't use it and other than that, it does the job well and I like it.  I don't have a problem with releasing the tool attachments.  For me, the main issue I have is that as my wrist gets tired, my hand moves forward and I accidentally push the turbo button.

Re: Blue Jean Chef Hand Mixer

its subjective, but I don't find it particularly heavy. I am 74. only bought it to mix natural peanut butter. I used one of the twisty attachements. mixing peanut butter is a challenge as its very hard until blended. this did the job. got mine on a sale price and happy with it.

Thanks ladies!  I should of done more research as I found on the Chef's website it weights 2lbs.  Just wished QVC could of included that info.  Still weights less than the heavy clunker I own now.
