Hi folks! I currently have a Vitamix that I really love, but the hubby has been threatening to steal it for work ( he spends 36 hours at a time "living at his job ). Since I want him to be able to make healthy smoothies and avoid the fast food they normally indulge in there, I will happily give him my Vitamix, but that means replacing mine here at home with another. Since the Insider is advertising a good deal on a BlendTec, which I have been curious about and always preferred the look of, I was wondering if anyone here has actually USED both for an extended period and can give me a good, unbiased opinion on what they think of the differences between the two products.
