I have a glass cooktop (love it!) and here's the cookware I use:
It's Cuisinart Classic, stainless steel 3-ply cookware. That's a starter set; there are several types of sets, and the pieces can also be bought individually. Amazon has the best prices IMO.
This cookware is totally flat on the bottom. It won't scratch (be sure to lift pans and skillets, not drag them, on the cooktop). I've had my Cuisinart for 15 years or more. I still love it, and I've added pieces over the years.
All Clad makes wonderful cookware; it's very expensive. Looks similar to Cuisinart but is a bit heavier.
Wolfgang Puck's stainless steel cookware has gotten good reviews, too.
Congrats on your new kitchen!

I use NOTHING special, and my surface is as unmarked as the day it came EXCEPT for a piece of aluminum foil that was burned into the glass on the bottom of a pan and mad a small chip.
Mine has just never scratched, and it definitely HAS NOT been babied.
It's an oldish (over 10 years) Kenmore 40" range, no longer available.

Got a glass top electric stove (GE Cafe) and now I want to keep it looking amazing and wondered what the best set of cookware youve bought on here has been?
There are so many sets and I'm really looking for super flat bottom (no scratching glass) and preferably non stick but I'm puzzled by all the choices here.
GE's manual says Stainless Steel, heavy wegiht Aluminum, Porcelain Enamel on Cast Iron if bottom of of pan is coated.
Hi @Phelina. I recently purchased K42765, the Circulon 13 Piece set of Hard Anodized Cookware. I received it on May 27th and, so far, I'm loving it. I am using it on a glass top stove and absolutely no issues or scratches of any kind. Personally, I prefer a gas stove but I am house sharing right now so that's what I have to work with.
I like the fact that you can use metal utensils and don't have to baby it or buy a separate set of silicon utensils which I really don't care for. I haven't used all of the pieces yet, but I have used most of them. Still have to get to the cookie sheets, grill pan, and the 8 quart stockpot. I'll be posting a review of the whole set as soon as I use those items. I don't know the color scheme of your kitchen but also like the looks of this set and think it should be a good fit in any kitchen.
It's currently on four easy pays with free shipping. I lucked out and caught it on six easy pays.
Anyway, if you need any more information, just post here and I'll be happy to help.
Oh, almost forgot. During presentations the guy doing the demo days that you won't need to use the same level of heat when cooking, that you can cook at a lower temperature and get the same results you would normally get with other cookware at higher temperatures. Well, it's true, but he doesn't exactly say why.
