Re: Best and Worst

[ Edited ]

Best for me are my Curtis Stone Dura cookware. I love the ones with higher sides to keep the cooktop from getting splattered. Long lasting quality and lightweight. I Love the 2 sizes of jugs with pour spouts, and I have a soup pot, which hasn't been sold in years ( unfortunately)-

Also best for me, don't laugh, my Ginsu serrated knives. I'm a lefty and many serrated knives are only serrated on 1 side and don't work for lefties!

Worst, the Instant Pot. I never use it. It has given the Burn message and messed up dinner and the Slow Cook doesn't get hot enough to cook.  Also worst are the Mad Hungry tools. They are too heavy and I just don't like the feel of them.

The best for me is the KitchenAid three cup chopper. I use it often. The worst is the KitchenAid 13 cup food processor. It's from years ago. There's a new improved model now. I need the instruction manual whenever I use it.

One of the very best kitchen things I purchased was the "Fasta Pasta" cooker.  Love it!  So much faster and easier to use than boiling pasta in a pot on the stove.

Also a toaster oven.  So quick and easy to use.

Worst was so many junky can openers.  I finally found one that is wonderful:  " Chantal" is the brand name, I found it in a kitchen shop.  A bit expensive for a manual can opener, but I've been using it for 20 years and it's still going strong.

BEST ever - I have a weight watcher pull and chop, same type as the MCM one, maybe a bit smaller.  Best ever for onions and celery.

Another best  - an ALL Clad skillet I think I got for either 16.99 or 19.99 at Home Goods - been using it almost daily for years.

Worst was the 3 pack of knife sharpeners. Twist to secure on your countertop.  What was I thinking?

My Kuhn Rikon sheers, I have used for years.  Maybe I just got lucky?  Mine seem to still be sharp.  Probably six or seven years old.  I don’t use them everyday though.
