I've been reading all the reviews on here on all the different air fryers and waiting on the Cook's Essentials TSV but now that I've read the thread on that one noting no air vents in the basket, I've decided not to wait for that one. The one that seems to get the most positive write-ups here seems to be Emeril's air fryer. Is there a particular one that y'all are raving about?
I don't need it to bake or roast things in as I have my countertop convection oven for those tasks -- just for "deep frying".
Thanks for any advice!!

Nu Wave - more surface space and you can see what's going on.
There are other brands like this but I have never used them.

I am no appliance pro, but there must be a reason for changing the basket on the cooks essential model. Meredith will explain. I like my cooks essential model.

I like my Cook's Companion from Evine very much. I use it pretty much every day for a variety of things.
My original one stopped working a few weeks ago. I figured since it was nine months old I had missed the warranty period but was pleased to see if carried a full year warranty. I contacted their incredibly nice CS and got the ball rolling for a replacement. After mailing back the cord on a Tuesday, I had my new fryer the following Monday. Couldn't be more pleased.

I've voted for and purchased the Chef Ming air fryer. Outstanding. He was an engineer, before chef, and carefully insisted on a number of features. The presentations were excellent (and it works like a dream).
I love it when the name/sponsor gives MORE THAN their name to the appliance. I love the latest science behind this version.
Plus, I'm on a heart-healthy diet (plant strong), so this offers a chance to get oil-free delicious foods.
