@momtochloeand everyone, When looking over on Evine at the current air fryers, I'm seeing that the 4.2 qt Cook's Companion air fryer says newly improved with ceramic coating (not sure how I feel about the "improved" based on my ceramic experience) and has something called a crisping insert.
Just curious to know if anyone here has the crisping insert and how you like it. I don't know if I missed it in the past, or if the crisping insert is also fairly new, because I haven't been following all of the air fryer versions closely.
It looks as if it is dimensional, not flat. I wonder if that would possibly help prolong the life of the nonstick surface, having less "surface contact" with the food. Thoughts?
