Hi Ladies,
I cook every day and chop onions, it seems, almost every day, too. I sometimes only need 1/2 of an onion, like when chopping for veggie burgers, etc. How do you store the remainder? I try to wrap the remainder tightly in plastic wrap and then store in a glass container so the entire refrigerator doesn't smell. But I was just thinking-Is there a trick or tip to storing 1/2 of an onion? Also, what about tomatoes? Obviously, the smell factor doesn't come into play, but when we have 1/2 of something left over I often think, There's gotta be a better way!
Anyone?
