Re: Best Q items I bought for kitchen lately!

C.E. 3.2 qt. air fryer.

I lost 50 pounds in 3 months by cutting out oil and instead using the air fryer.  YMMV.

Good Luck.

Re: Best Q items I bought for kitchen lately!

ITA about the smallish groovetech knife and the genie disposer thing. I even bought another one as a gift for someone who admired it.

My fave thing recently is that tiny CE air fryer--2 quarts, I think. Having so much fun with it.

Another all time fave is the silicone covered fork (set of 2). Very versatile for stirring, beating, etc. I really missed the cooking fork I grew up with when most of my pans got enamel or nonstick linings.

Forgot about that pull-chop thing. I have the smaller one and I use it very often. Makes great egg salad, ham salad, etc.--I like a LOT of celery in mine and it chops very evenly. I've used it for sauces and dressings, chopped salad veg, and even made ground beef from small cubes--though this works better with my little food processor.

K45326 Cook's Essentials aluminum defrost board and 4 cutting mats. This little board works really well as I am always forgetting to take things out of the freezer early enough for them to defrost completely. Haven't even used the cutting mats-they could sell it without them as far as I am concerned.

I bought these items on "clearance or ODO" and so glad I did!

K45426 - groovetech knife: love it just like demo nothing sticks & slices great!

K44543- CE lightweight 5 qt cast iron Dutch oven - cooks evenly and even with roast in it I can lift it! I donated my other heavy CI pieces.

K43975 - Disposal genie stopper - how did I ever live for years without this perfect gadget!!! No more forks, baking tips, etc. falling into my disposal (from not paying attention til I turn it on😲)

and can be turned to fill sink with water.

How about you? I love to hear about others good finds! Thanks!

I forgot about the Groovetech knife. I love the way it cuts, but it seems to need to be sharpened often. But it is my go-to for potatoes and onions.

@PA Mom-mom

I have the same issue with the groovetech knife. I'm glad I bought those sharpeners when Q offered them.

I use this knife for everything!

@homedecor1  I bought the disposal genie stopper based on your recommendation.  I really needed something like that but didn't know it existed.  I love it!  Thank you so much for mentioning this.

I absolutely agree with this. I could never be without mine. Also the foodsaver. I have had both for years and they get the most use.

The pull chop is the latest and greatest for me.  I have the larger size and use it all the time for onions, celery, and garlic.
