I wonder if they are really cakes..... There is a trend to use "fake" cakes for events (decorated like cakes but they're made of cardboard, foam, etc).

I appreciate how unique and beautifully decorated these cakes are. The fondant is perfection and the flowers and pipping incredible. True artistry.

While blue is not a traditional cake color (unless it's a Cookie Monster Cake) nothing wrong with different! I would love to bring anyone of them out for dessert after a dinner party as it would match my Wedgwood Blue dining room walls.

@Kachina624 No, I don't care for blueberries but love raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries! Blueberries don't taste like much to me. And these blue cakes don't look good to me. It's the color that is sort of revolting on cake to me, not that they are fancy.

Having dabbled in cake decorating, myself, I'm amazed at the attention to the fine detail on these extraordinary cakes. Not easy to perfect. This designer's vision, coming to life so elegantly, is exceptional.

@Kachina624 Happy New Year ! The cakes are beautiful.....looks like the Wedgewood from my Grandmother......I wanted to tell you that I read your post on the Desperation Thread and I ABSOLUTELY agree with you....it took me a moment, but I may be a little slow ! The fact is,I did catch on.
