Try this trick: to keep bananas from turning brown too quickly, wrap a piece of aluminum foil on that stem thingy that all the bananas are connected to. It does work. Carly Hall talked about it on The Chew

Posting for amusement.

 

Order online from a major retailer to have delivered.  In this case I ordered a "bunch" of organic instead of specifying how many bananas otherwise.

 

You guessed it - received ONE banana instead of a "bunch".  LOL

I buy them green and seperate them so they're not surrounded by the gass that ripens them.  They last.
