Banana Bag

Have you seen this? DH and I found it at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I bought it because DH eats a lot of bananas and I have certainly thrown out a lot of extremely ripe bananas.

The purpose of the bag is that when you buy bananas, you leave a couple of them out on the counter and put the rest of the bananas in the bag and then put in the refrigerator! Yes, that surprised us too! Then, after the two on the counter are eaten, you take out two more from the bag, etc.

However, it works! DH said the bananas taste fine. There is also a green bag for cucumbers and celery made by the same company. I am tempted to get it also.
