Baking with Bundt Pan -- Question

I have never baked a bundt cake.  Can you use a regular cake mix in a bundt pan and if so, does the baking time need to be adjusted?

Thanks!!!

Re: Baking with Bundt Pan -- Question

Yes, you can use a regular cake mix in a bundt pan, and on the back of the cake mix there should be baking instructions (time) for using a bundt pan. I like using them since I am not a fan of frostings! You can just use powdered sugar or a glaze over them, or you can frost if you want.

I have the mini bundt pans on my Amazon wish list. Think they would be fun!

Bundt pans are fun and make a beautiful presentation.

But you have to really grease that puppy, especially the inner tube.

Re: Baking with Bundt Pan -- Question

I found that I had to rotate the bundt pan (after I was sure it wouldn't fall) to ensure even baking.............

My bundt pan is so old that the enameled outside is avocado green!

Re: Baking with Bundt Pan -- Question

I love my Bundt pan and use it a lot! Does anyone remember this scene from My Big Fat Greek Wedding when Ian's parents bring a Bundt cake to Toula's family? Hilarious! I should try to serve mine like this sometime! Smiley LOL
