It's cold and rainy today, and I just put 2 loaves of pumpkin bread in the oven. Those spices will make the house smell like fall. Is anybody else baking today ?🍪🍰🍩

ohhh, pumpkin bread sounds wonderful!  I went to the store this morning to get all I needed to make apple fritter bread and forgot the confectioners sugar for the glaze.  UGH!  Not going back to the store.  Guess I could make it without the glaze.....nah!  HAHAHA  Oh well, there's always next Sunday!!

Yes! I baked a sour cream crumb cake, but I am so envious of the rain.  Since moving to the southwest almost 20 years ago, I've developed a serious case of rain deficiency.  Oh, how I wish it was a rainy weekend, my favorite weather.  Enjoy it a little extra for me, please.

Does this count?  I am baking chicken drumsticks in a mushroom sauce, in a Temp-tations bean crock.  325 degrees, 4-5 hours, and they are fall-off-the-bone tender.  House smells great!  We are getting drizzle in the Piedmont of VA, and the oven helps warm things up, as it is just a bit damp and chilly.

I think I'll throw some potatoes in soon.  Yum!  Brussels sprouts would be good too.  Easy one pot meal.

Have a great evening all.

@demanda. Please, please share your recipe for apple fritter bread.  Its a favorite of mine and the bakery where I've bought it no longer makes it.

Everything sounds delicious. I can smell it from here. Send over a slice. Pouring myself a cup of coffee to go with the cakes, pies, fritters, pumpkin bread. Since I'm on the east coast, I would love a drumstick from the crock pot also- getting hungry.

Rainy damp and dreary today.
