Baking lovers.... look what came in the mail today!

Every year I pledge money to my local PBS station.  Every year I waive the reward gift, figuring I'll save them the money.  This year, though, it was this book and I couldn't resist.  It arrived today but I'm too busy to really give it a good once-over.  Does anyone else own it?  Have you tried any of the recipes?

I would love to have that for mine.  I pledged this spring, so I won't qualify.  I'll just have to buy it.  WHat is the ISBN number, please?

@Tigriss

I'd be happy to answer that if I knew what an ISBN number was!

Pardon my ignorance...

ISBN is the international standard book number.  It is used to uniquely identify all books. It is usually on the page where the copyright date and info is or above the barcode like below.  It is like an SSN or fingerprint for books.  If you have that number, you can order any book from any bookseller or find it.

@house_cat, On Netflix, I've watched the shows with these two ladies, and it's a good show.  I'd bet the book would be good!! I have plenty of books too. LOL

ISBN number is in the front of the book.  If you go on Amazon, look the book up, in the description it usually gives the ISBN number.  That number is how it is registered I believe in Washington as the ID # for each book.  Every book has one.

@qualitygal

Thank you for teaching me something new. I've purchased a lot of books in my time and didn't know that. Yikes... not proud of that, but it's true.

Here's the info from this book.  I was surprised that it's a nice hardcover book - I thought they'd be sending some flimsy little paperback.
