Hello!

Could you please request someone create or bring in Bakeware Protectors and Cookware Protectors? These are flat felt fabric separators placed in between ceramic bakeware or cookware. Make them in different sizes.  The spacers protects pots, pans, lids, skillets and bakeware from moving - avoids sliding and scratches.  Keep your items safe, secure and looking new!

Just a thought - that may be a HIT!

Great idea!  Lots of good substitutes mentioned too.  Surprised there aren’t some Temptations ones already.

@Lou808 BBB carries in packages of 3. They are grey on one side and grey and white on the other. I think I paid either $10 or $15 per pkg and used my coupon. Easy to wash and keep clean!

I think  I paid $3.99 or $4.99 for set of 3 at Marshall's.  When they have them they come in a variety of colors.   If QVC carried them they would be a lot more plus the shipping.  If you don't want to buy anything, probably a clean microfiber cloth between the items would work out.

I just use my old hand and face towels...lay them in between each pan.

@SilleeMee.  So do I. Even old dish towels. I buy the big bags of facecloths,towels, microfiber cloths,etc in Costco. Always have a lot of cloths! Lol.

@proudlyfromNJ

Back when I used to bake cookies, I would take old pillow cases and use them to store large baking sheets. Sometimes I'd cut them to make them a bit smaller...worked out great.

Re: Baking Pan Protectors and Cookware Protectors

I briefly used paper plates between pans and paper towels between stoneware and glass baking dishes, but I finally decided it was worthwhile to invest in two simple sets of the felt separators (on Amazon). I love them! I was always careful with my pieces, but the virtual elimination of clatter when using the felt separators is wonderful.

Re: Baking Pan Protectors and Cookware Protectors

Lots of terrific thrifty ideas on this thread.

I was tempted by the idea of making my own felt separators, but last summer's horrific humidity here convinced me against using anything absorbent, so no paper plates, old towels/sheet pieces, or felt. I thought squares of bubble wrap would work, but I'd end up with more "come into my mailroom" than "welcome to my kitchen," so I kept searching.

I ended up buying sets of six silicone splatter lids that double as bowl covers in the refrigerator and microwave oven and can also be used to help open jar lids and the like. The sizes in the set run from 4" to 14", and since I have a couple of Curtis Stone's big pans, I needed the biggest size. They do the separator job and then some, and they won't get musty or moldy when the steamy weather returns.

If you search for B06ZZJDNYF on Amazon, you'll find them. There are other brands, styles, sizes, and colors, but  these work for me. YMMV, of course.
