Bacon On Egg Salad Sandwich !!

I've put bacon bits on deviled eggs. No idea why I never went a step further and put bacon strips on an egg salad sandwich.

Holy cat, it is good. Healhy, nope. But I figure one once in a blue moon is worth it.

Have you tried it?

I have been making bacon and egg salad sandwiches for my husband for years.

My mother made them when I was a kid.

To make them extra tasty, saute onions and add them to the egg salad. Yumm.

I haven't had lunch or breakfast. I usually only eat one meal a day.

i almost always make BLTE salad sandwiches......bacon, lettuce, tomato, egg salad, mayo on a toasted bolillo roll or toasted ciabiatta roll.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 Heck, I like Egg & Bacon sandwiches, BLTs, bacon on hamburgers. I could, but wouldn't, eat a pound of bacon by itself. Love bacon!!!

Back in the 80's when I was in my 20's and worked, my friend and I used to have lunch at a deli that served chicken salad sandwiches with bacon and russian dressing. Seemed like an odd combo but, boy, was it good!
