I am so angry.  I have an auto-delivery on my Heartland Chicken fried Chicken.  I just looked at my order statu and it's Backordered.  They just had it on this weekend.  Why are we using auto-delivery for insuring that we get our order when they blatently sell out of that product?   I called CS and they, of course, apologized but as I told them, why don't you save all the AD orders for those of us who chose that way and not give them first to the people who just order a single shipment.  Then when the AD orders are filled then ship to the single shipment people.  So I have only 3 pieces of chicken in my freezer and have to wait for them to fill my backorder.   I just love the importance of Auto-Delivery?????

@luvmybeetle Don't feel bad ... you're not alone. My "new" Heartland Chicken Parmesan, presented yesterday as a One Day Only, just went from "in process" to "back order." Tell me how is that possible?

Hi!  I totally understand.   When I first went on AD for this product (BTW, awesome product!!) I got a backorder notice for like my second order.   I was very upset because of how much I love the product.  I even contacted the Heartland company to see if I could just buy it from them, or find out where else i could get it.

I talked to somebody very nice who said she would contact QVC, etc, and before I knew it my order was processed.

She also told me that they expected to be with QVC for a long time to come so the products should not 'sell out' and become unavailable.

I think what sometimes happens is that they keep the AD stock and one-time order stock on a separate thing and I'd be willing to bet that, very soon, the product will be available again for your AD very soon.   They just came off of Sunday and a new week will bring things back to where they should be.

However, on a long-term basis, it is upsetting that they will offer some products on AD and then you get it once or twice and they kill it.  I just had that happen with another product.  If you're going to sell subscriptions, you MUST keep stocking, or making available, the items.  PERIOD.

Because of them stopping ADs on items, I find myself stock-piling and don't let myself enjoy something because I'm afraid I'll run  out.  Now, I DO get that that is on me.  But it's a hard habit to break.

Hope they come around for you!!  Smiley Happy

I’ve never ordered food from QVC but I can certainly understand your frustration. They should hold enough to fulfill the AD orders. Hope they work to correct that - I’ve heard this complaint before.

What a blessed and enviable life you live that having only 3 pieces of chicken in your freezer  creates such upheaval.

@luvmybeetle  Check the price on your A/D and compare it to what it was just selling for.  Is the current price higher?  I had this happen to me with a Harry London A/D some time ago (I no longer order it).  It was obvious to me that they were taking the new orders and fulfilling those because they were getting more money for it.

They actually canceled my A/D on that candy.  It all worked out for the best though, I stopped ordering that brand and switched to Waggoners with Evine, which is much higher quality candy.

Strangely enough I am from the city in Ohio that both of those candies come from.  Waggoner's is the better quality chocolate and that man's father came from Harry London after it was bought out.  He developed his own chocolate and now it's much better.  I always buy Waggoner's.

I see a weird pattern here......I just went through the same issue that I posted about with a pair of jeans that I received my order confirmation receipt and now they are on Backorder. When I called CS, she told me that there is no guarantee an item will always be available after it is ordered....WHAT???? Then QVC should put a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen that says you are not guaranteed this item will be in stock when you order.....I understand having a waitlist.....but how can you sell items you do not have to be guaranteed in stock....that just doesn’t make any sense at all......

@luvmybeetle  Yes, I know the whole Harry London/Waggoner story......I'm from Mentor (east of Cleveland)!  So you're from Canton?  I love that my Waggoner orders arrive the same day they ship UPS.  When I compared the two, it was obvious the new owners of Harry London were cutting corners on quality.  I'll gladly pay the higher price for Waggoners!

I do have a blessed life and I am sure you do too.  But, when I order something from a reputable company I believe they should fulfill their promise to deliver.  Your word is your bond and I don't think QVC is keeping their word.
