I order these every year for Christmas dinner.
I always order the mini croissants with the ship date of @12/4. Usually the order is 30 croissants or so. Perfect for the small family we have. Some for dinner, some for one day of leftovers.
I just checked and this year they had Jumbo croissants and regular sized croissants. And large orders.
For the 12/4 delivery I had to order 65 regular sized croissants. That was the smallest size. I ordered them, but I'm going to have to think about that one for awhile.
I wish they'd keep in mind that not all of us are the Duggar family. We don't have 30-40 people for dinner. There are 7 of us.
And yes, I know I can only make what we need and keep the rest frozen, but I watch my weight really closely and after Christmas, I won't make them again. Too much temptation.
I wish they'd bring back the mini croissants in the smaller sets.
They do offer smaller orders, but not with date specific shipment. So I've pre-ordered these and when we get closer to the actual ship date maybe I'll be able to cancel and go with one of the smaller sizes without a date specific shipment.

I have some of the large ones in the freezer now. I am on auto delivery from a good special they ran earlier in the year. Have not used but a few due to the fat content. They are delicious but you do have to be careful. Will have to share with church members at one of the dinners. There are so many in the bags you get!

@Renata22- yeah, I think they're really good and we love the mini ones, but this year they seem to be concentrating on the regular and jumbo sized. Now I'm ok with that, but I wish they'd put fewer in the order.

One of the expenses we seldom hear about for those of us with small families is that it's just not all that often we get to take advantage of the discounts that come with volume ordering.
I used to think about ordering the croissants and then I'd get sane and realize I'd be far better off paying for a few, assuming there's even a local bakery which makes anything good. Sure, each one costs more, but I don't have the waste or the waist.
Same principle works with lots of things - coupons that require buying 2 or 3, BOGO offers, spend $$$ to get free shipping, extra large sizes of items, etc.
It's not even totally about the money - it's also that if we buy a large quantity of something, now we have the same thing to eat over and over and over. There just aren't all that many things I want to repeat as often as I do my morning oatmeal.
