Thank you for responding to my "child memory". Now, the hot dog I was referring to had "No Name Brand" at all! These were sold in independent stores in my town, not grocery stores at all. Each butcher would make their own but we never got a bad hot dog from any of our local butchers. Of course these places are all gone now. This "Vienna" type dog you mention, can they be purchased all over the country??? I am in South Carolina. I can't drive anymore but would love to hear about them. I imagine they are quite expensive?? Thanks for the input.
